Community Building Opportunities

When Christ rose from the dead the eternal claim was made that our bodies matter! That is why we at Resurrection Assembly happily welcome seasoned Yoga instructor, Noelle Haverhals to host a weekly movement based support group for those who have struggled with substance abuse and addiction.

Each class is designed specifically for individuals overcoming addiction. In a supportive, non-judgmental space, this class offers gentle, restorative practices that promote healing.

“I say I use (drugs) because I like how it feels. But I really like that it moves me out of my body and keeps me from feeling. Yoga moves me into my body and makes me like how I feel.”

“I go to Recovery Yoga because I want to include more activity where I can grow close to my husband who really likes to exercise and this is one exercise we can both do. I feel safe here and safe doing this. I want to do more activities. I want to do more activities with my hubby and something we enjoy and are capable of and still feel safe.”
