Rev. Abby Anderson
Lead Pastor
Rev. Abby Anderson is an Iowa City local.
She has served the town over the years through schools and community action programs. She now serves Iowa City through the local church. Pastor Abby also serves on leadership teams for the Iowa Ministry Network. She holds an MA in New Testament Studies from Northern Seminary and teaches Bible and theology courses at Evangel University. Pastor Abby is married to Kyle and is mother to four children:
Hillary, Janet, Rian, and Zion.
Rev. Dr. Joseph Lear
Pastor of Preaching and Theology
Rev. Dr. Joseph Lear ministered in Missouri, Connecticut, and Scotland before coming to Iowa City. He holds a PhD in New Testament from the University of Aberdeen, and an MAR in Christian Ethics from Yale Divinity School. He grew up in French-speaking West Africa, and works full time as the Director of Theology and Global Church Ministries at Evangel University COL. Pastor Joseph is married to Holly, and has three sons:
Lazarus, Barnabas, and Moses.
